Anika
Anika (she/her) is a second year acting student, a pink enthusiast and a swimmer!
She is very excited to be a part of CAST to help people to listen to them and to make them feel welcome and included. She is passionate about social justice, empathy and feminism, and most of her work is inspired by these three main subjects. When she writes her plays, short films or interprets a character, she tries to give a voice to people or causes that don’t feel heard and need to be heard!
She thinks that art — and especially theatre — is an amazing way to get people to come together and learn about listening to others. She truly believes that when we start listening, we can start feeling. And once we can feel, we are capable of being empathetic towards others. Empathy is the seed to healing and theatre is empathy!
